CONGRATS NUALA SHEEHY THROUGH TO MISS DANCE OF GREAT BRITAIN FINALS 2016
ALSO WELL DONE TO REBECCA ALLEN RUNNER UP It's been a long but exciting day for these performers dancing against a wealth of talent all Championship winners in their own right, from Scotland to down south. The standard has been fantastic, ADS it's been an honour to see you all dance today with so many varied routines of outstanding dancers altogether in one event on the stage in one theatre. Supporters you need applauding too to travel all that way to cheer us on. Well done everyone.
After a long day at class and the car park out of action and then a snowy evening how lovely it was to see the presentation of the last exam session so well attended. Thank you parents. These excellent marks included grade 5 moderns, Grade 5 Taps and Intermediate Modern and juniors Grade 2 moderns. Most Promising Awards to: Demi Beardsley Liberty Teanby It's with a heavy but proud heart we say a final 'Goodbye Chloe Murray' who is about to start her first professional job on the Cunard Queen Victoria as a dancer, on a 6 month world contract. Chloe has been a pupil at Armley Dance since she was a little girl proving her talents to great heights. Her class attendance and work ethics have been an example to all. You will not find a more modest and friendly student if you tried, her achievements in dance are too many to post, one highlight being 2nd in the Miss Dance of Great Britain but there have been so many. It would be true to say she has been a great ambassador for ADS with many younger pupils aiming to reach her standard. All the best Chloe on your new adventure you will be missed, may your new dancing life begin as your space on the ballet bar is taken up by another dancer dreaming of what you are about to start .... Sail away knowing we are waving you a fond farewell.
Below the IDTA Examination board sent this for our ex student Chloe Murray with a little letter passing on their congrats as she is dancing in her professional contract.
